Founded by Elaine Annette Thomas, Caerus Lifecare was established in 2018 with the vision to redefine the perception of both domiciliary and specialist residential care for the clients and their families.
It is the Caerus’ vision to enrich the lives of our clients through the delivery of personal assisted care to the highest quality, acting as a discreet and professional aid in enabling clients to continue to live their increasingly active and diverse lifestyles.
Caerus Lifecare has been developed on strong foundation of systems and structures, as well as a clear understanding of the industry and client needs.
My inspiration for working in the care sector stems from my mum, who worked as a carer in Kensington and Chelsea for over 35 years.
During my training, watching my mum on some of her visits really inspired me—washing and dressing her clients.
She was very particular about what they wore each day. She was so attentive and caring. She would respect their privacy and dignity. The clients often would get my mum to collect their pensions because they trusted her.
Upon my mum’s retirement, she received an award for all her hard work from Kensington and Chelsea.
After my mum retired, she would receive phone calls out of the blue where some of her clients had left her a small gift in their will with a special card from the family thanking her for the love and support she gave to their loved ones.
This is what I call caring for someone and giving the job your all.

Caerus Lifecare aims to place the needs of our clients at the heart of our service providing bespoke care that respects our client’s choice, rights, privacy, and dignity.
We recognise the need for client choice and proactively encourage involvement during the planning and delivery of care and guarantee that the service is managed and delivered in a way which meets the needs of individuals concerned.
We work to ensure that each client is understood and encouraged to the right level of independence. As well as respecting their individual requirement for privacy at all times and treat all information relating to individuals in a confidential manner.
Our quality assurance programme ensures regular quality and performance appraisals are conducted, both with clients and carers. In addition, our complaints, grievance, allegation, whistle-blowing and disciplinary procedures guarantee that we are able to capture information to plan and implement on-going improvements to our services.
